A PRESTIGIOUS awards night celebrating all that’s best in the North East is being sponsored by Sweeney Miller Solicitors.
Living North magazine is hosting its second Awards evening this Friday, November 25 – and just like last year’s inaugural event- Sweeney Miller will be giving it their support,
Almost two dozen awards will be given out in the stunning setting of St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle with recognition covering a whole range of activities.
From Restaurant of the Year to the Changing Lives award; from Hotel of the Year to the Creative Contribution award; from Retailer of the Year to the Best Regeneration or Restoration award, the night will highlight what is good and great in the North East right now.
Sweeney Miller’s special area of interest on the night will be the Promise and Potential award which the company will be sponsoring.
The citation for the award reads: “A community is nothing without young people with hope, ambition and dedication backed up by an understanding that hard work and determination can win the day. “Which of our many talented young people most deserve this award?”
The eight young achievers who have been shortlisted for the award are: Brandon Bailey, James Common, Jack Burnham, Zac Allin, Dylan McKee, Alex Walker, Dean Bone and Lauren Pattison.
Paul Miller, senior partner at Sweeney Miller said: “We are once again delighted to be associated with the Living North Awards, which is a tremendous vehicle for putting good news in the North East in the spotlight.
“We are particularly pleased to be sponsoring the Promise and Potential award which focuses on recognising and encouraging some of the brightest and best young people in our region.”
