6th January 2021
New batch of trainee solicitors welcomed in 2021!
Three of our paralegals have started training contracts with the firm this week.
Sweeney Miller now has 7 trainee solicitors in the firm, including an apprentice, indicating the company’s strong tradition of supporting and promoting suitable candidates as part of their graduate training programme.
Zarah Rowntree (middle), Niamh Farrell (left), and Stephanie Rutherford (right) are the latest employees to be offered a coveted trainee role at the start of January 2021 despite a challenging socio-economic climate.
Zarah joined the team in 2018 as a Conveyancing Assistant following her graduation from the University of Sunderland with a first-class law degree in 2017.
Steph joined the firm in the same year, having undertaken her L.L.B (Hons) and L.L.M Legal Practice Course at the University of Sunderland.
Niamh also joined the Sunderland Office in 2018, having undertaken her L.L.B (Hons) and L.L.M Legal Practice Course at the University of Sunderland.
Partner, Surbhi Vedhara commented, “Zarah, Niamh, and Stephanie have been awarded training contracts in light of their fantastic work and tremendous potential.
Niamh and Steph will be starting their first seat in residential conveyancing and Zarah Rowntree will be focussing on specialist buy-to-let conveyancing for investors and will be based in the Newcastle office.
We look forward to seeing what the future holds for our new trainees and we are confident that they will continue to excel in whatever they choose to do”.
