Part Time Legal Receptionist

Sweeney Miller Law are looking for a part time Receptionist to join our Newcastle office. General duties as the Receptionist will include:
  • Managing a very busy switchboard and directing incoming calls to the relevant people
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the office
  • Ensuring the Reception area is kept tidy and presentable
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are set up and refreshments organised
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
The following skills will be required for the role:
  • Good telephone manner
  • Pleasant attitude
  • Ability to handle a large volume of calls
  • Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook

Experienced Residential Conveyancer for our Sunderland office

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer for our Sunderland office, preferably Solicitor or CILEX, who can hit the ground running. You will have a proven track record of running all types of property matters to include Freehold, Leasehold, New Build and Shared Ownership transactions, both sale and purchase. You will be used to high volume, using case management (ideally Proclaim) and must be able to demonstrate excellent client care skills and managing a small team of junior staff. We are seeking to appoint a Wills & Probate Solicitor/FILEX to assist in our busy private client department. The role will involve the drafting of Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with both simple and complex estates sometimes involving Inheritance Tax & Probate some experience of Court of Protection work and Trusts would be an advantage.
