Donate your clothes to support women into work
Sweeney Miller Law's Sunderland office is now a donation station for Smart Works.
Smart Works Newcastle supports North East women into employment through the power of high quality interview clothing and coaching to help secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives. They support women regardless of their unemployment circumstances. Whether recently unemployed, coming back to work after a long term employment gap or looking for a first job, the Smart Works team help women on their journey.
At the heart of Smart Works is an interview dressing and preparation service designed to help clients with a scheduled job interview look and feel their best. This includes a 60 minute dressing appointment followed by a 60 minute personalised interview preparation session, all completely free of charge.
Smart Works rely on high quality donations to fill wardrobes and stock their pop-up sales which help to raise vital funds.
We are now able accept donations of interview appropriate ladies clothing as well as items for Smart Works fundraising sales such as designer clutch bags, shoes or party dresses.
Why donate clothing to Smart Works?
- To transform the lives of unemployed women
- To give your items a new lease of life
- To declutter with a purpose
Items Smart Works gratefully accept:
- Pre-loved, high quality workwear items such as trousers, skirts, suits, dresses and outerwear.
- Interview appropriate shoes and bags
- Pre-loved pieces that are not suitable for the workplace but could be resold at a Smart Works fashion sale to raise vital funds
