Huge congratulations to Sergio Lika, the winner of the 2025 Sweeney Miller Scholarship for obtaining the highest mark in Land Law at the University of Sunderland.

Senior Partner Damien Todd was delighted to attend last week's graduation ceremony to present Sergio with his prize.

We look forward to watching Sergio's legal career develop as a member of Sweeney Miller Law's Residential Conveyancing team in the Sunderland office.

The Sweeney Miller Law Scholarship was developed in collaboration with Sunderland University Law School and recognises the highest academic performer in land law.  Students can apply for the scholarship after receiving their second-year exam results.

Sweeney Miller Law also offer a similar scholarship scheme in conjunction with Newcastle University Law School.
