Sweeney Miller Law Supports Charlie’s Incredible Charity Bike Ride

Sweeney Miller Law is proud to be supporting an extraordinary fundraising challenge being undertaken by a remarkable young man.

Charlie has embarked on an epic journey that will see him cycle an astonishing 970 miles (1,561 km) over 16 consecutive days, visiting every Premier League football stadium in England, starting at St James’ Park in Newcastle.

The challenge, which runs from 15 August to 30 August 2026, is raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of Charlie’s grandad, who sadly lost his battle with cancer at the age of 65.

Taking on a cycling challenge of this magnitude would be impressive for anyone, but Charlie’s determination, resilience and commitment to making a difference make his story particularly inspiring.

Over the course of just over two weeks, Charlie will travel the length of the country, stopping at all 20 Premier League stadiums along the way. The route covers hundreds of miles of roads, varying terrain and long days in the saddle, all while raising awareness and vital funds for cancer research.

His motivation is deeply personal, and the challenge is a fitting tribute to his grandad’s memory.

Sweeney Miller Law was delighted to sponsor two significant milestones on Charlie’s route through the North East.

Our Senior Partner, Damien Todd, had the pleasure of meeting Charlie and his family at the challenge’s starting point, St James’ Park, where the excitement and anticipation ahead of the journey were clear to see.

A little further along the route, Claire Fenwick, Marketing Director at Sweeney Miller Law, met Charlie at the Stadium of Light, where he was continuing his incredible journey south.

Both visits provided an opportunity to wish Charlie well, learn more about his fundraising efforts and see first-hand the enthusiasm and positivity that have inspired so many people to support his cause.

We wish him every success as he continues his route through the country and completes what is a truly remarkable challenge.

Good luck, Charlie. We will be cheering you on every mile of the way.

If you would like to support Charlie’s fundraising efforts, please consider making a donation and sharing his story with others. Every contribution helps make a difference.
