GB Landlords, formerly North East Landlords, has recently unveiled a new look as it expands its reach into the capital ahead of its first landlord event in London.
North East Landlords, now GB Landlords, is a consortium of businesses initially launched to bring together the North East landlords community through regular events, knowledge sharing and events. Since its inception, the association has grown steadily and developed a significant network in the North East, prompting the organisers to rebrand and widen its scope nationally.
The national expansion will offer landlords across the country and in the capital, many of whom with properties in the North East the same level of support enjoyed by local landlords over the past few years.
GB Landlord’s steering group includes Sweeney Miller Law’s Managing Partner, Surbhi Vedhara, Martin Wardle, Tax Director and Chartered Tax Advisor at Robson Laidler, Paul Hampton, Principal of Approved Mortgage Solutions, and Janet Fay, MD of Coversure Insurance alongside well known local property professional Bruce Haagensen.
Following the association’s rebrand, the GB Landlords team is delighted to announce its next events February and March: one in Sunderland on Thursday 29th February, and the organisation’s first London meeting on Wednesday 27th March.
Sunderland Landlords’ Meeting
The next Sunderland Landlords’ Meeting will take place on Thursday 29th February 2024 from 5:30pm – 8:30pm at Viego Property Hub, SR4 6TA.

London Landlords’ Meeting
The inaugural GB Landlords London Landlords’ Meeting will take place on Wednesday 27th March from 5:30pm – 8:30pm at HSBC Canary Wharf, E14 5AH in association with HSBC Bank.
GB Landlords is delighted to announce that Paul Shamplina, founder of Landlord Action and star of Channel 5's Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords will be sharing his current thoughts on the state of the private rented sector and set out his hopes for what we can do to improve it.
